Palestinians Make Zionists Pay for Crimes

A young Palestinian man killed two Zionists in a stabbing Tuesday at a settlement in the occupied West Bank, then crashed a car on a nearby highway, killing a third Zionist, officials said.
The retaliatory operation at the settlement of Ariel also left three Zionists wounded. The Palestinian was shot and martyred by Israeli troops as he tried to run away from the crash scene.
The Zaka paramedic service said the three Zionists wounded were being treated in hospital and that they were in serious condition.
It was the latest in a wave of operations this year that has seen Palestinians target Zionists in retaliation for nightly Israeli raids that have fueled resistance in the occupied territory.
The Israeli military said the Palestinian first stabbed several Israelis at the entrance to the settlement’s industrial zone, then proceeded to a nearby gas station and stabbed more people there. The army said the man then drove a car and intentionally crashed it into another vehicle before fleeing the scene on foot.
Troops were searching the area for additional suspects, the military said.
Amateur video aired on Israeli television appeared to show the suspected attacker running down a highway and collapsing to the ground after he was shot. The Palestinian Health Ministry later confirmed that Muhammad Souf, 18, from the nearby village of Hares was the slain attacker.
No group has claimed responsibility for the operation, but Gaza-based Hamas resistance movement hailed it as “heroic.”
Hamas spokesman Abdul-Latif Qanu hailed the Ariel operation, saying that it serves as proof of Palestinians’ determination to continue the revolution and defend Al-Aqsa Mosque from daily incursions and desecrations.
The Ariel operation, the Hamas spokesman said, reveals the Zionist regime’s military and security failure “to kill the spirit of resistance and prevent its expansion.”
He warned that daily incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque will be met by increased strikes carried out by the resistance fighters to deter and stop Israeli forces.
This year’s operations in the West Bank and East Al-Quds have killed at least 25 Zionists in retaliation for more than 130 Palestinians martyred by Israeli forces.
The occupying regime of Israel claims its almost nightly arrest raids in the West Bank are needed to dismantle militant networks at a time when Palestinian security forces are unable or unwilling to do so.
The Palestinians say the raids undermine their security forces and are aimed at cementing the Zionist regime’s open-ended 55-year occupation of lands they want for their hoped-for state. Hundreds of Palestinians have been rounded up in such raids, with many placed in so-called administrative detention, which allows the Zionist regime to hold them without trial or charge.
The Zionist regime occupied the West Bank in the 1967 Mideast war, along with East Al-Quds and the Gaza Strip. The Palestinians seek those territories for their hoped-for independent state.
