Recorded history bears witness that after Muslims liberated Palestine, along with all of Greater Syria or Levant in 634 AD, from almost seven centuries of occupation by Byzantine or the Eastern Roman Empire – interrupted by brief Persian seizures in the 3rd, 6th, and 7th Christian centuries – the first usurpers of this holy Islamic land, that is, the European crusaders who had occupied it in 1099 AD from Fatimid Egypt, couldn’t rule beyond the 8th decade of occupation.
In other words, the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem came to its ignominious end in 1187, thanks to the liberation campaign launched by a united Muslim army of Kurdish cavalrymen, Turkish archers, Arab infantrymen and Iranian sappers.
In 1229, Muslim disunity again emboldened the Europeans to occupy parts of Palestine but soon in 1244 Bayt al-Moqaddas and its surrounding areas were liberated by a joint force of Khwarazmians (made up of Iranians and Turks from Central Asia), serving under the Ayyubid Dynasty of Egypt and Syria.
Centuries later came the British to seize Palestine only to depart 31 years later in 1948 by planting in this Islamic land the thorny bush of Zionism, whose illegal existence is nearing its end as Usurper Israel approaches the dreaded 8th decade of its precarious occupation.
The “never say die” spirit of resistance of the Palestinian people despite wars, target-killings, sanctions, suppression, and international intrigues, has made Israeli politicians realize the impossibility of the survival of the Zionist entity by recalling the above-mentioned historical realities as well as events of pre-history.
Michael Koplow, the chief policy officer at the New York-based Israel Policy Forum, in his remarks in an article on the recent bill banning the raising of Palestinian flags, acknowledged that Zionism has “failed” and that the Israeli regime is in “far bigger trouble than anyone can understand.”
By admitting there is a deep sense of insecurity in political circles about Israel’s durability and legitimacy, he again raised fears of the curse of the 8th decade that will end the existence of the Zionist entity.
It should be recalled that it was the notorious child-killer Benjamin Netanyahu, who first stoked fears of the dreaded 8th decade during his failed election campaign that Jews never had a state that lasted more than eight decades.
The current criminal controlling Tel Aviv, Naftali Bennett, also echoed the same fears in 2020 that in order to surmount the eighth decade the Zionists should vote for him.
The latest one to display public fears of the fast approaching end of Israel is former premier, Ehud Barak, who has ruefully admitted that the two Jewish kingdoms of the remote past, that is Judea and ancient Israel, collapsed in their 8th decades when the Assyrian Empire from what is now Iraq overran Palestine.
Indeed, Imam Khomeini (RA) was cent-percent correct when he called for weeding out of the Zionist tumour from the region, and the present Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, was equally right when over a decade ago he predicted the end of Israel within 25 years.
So, let us keep our fingers crossed for the day of destiny for the Palestinian people, who have been groaning under the jackboots of the European Zionists for the past 74 years and will soon be masters of their liberated homeland in the next few years.
