Today’s Jews and Christians
The world has seen many nations! that some have disappeared and some are still there!
The most famous remaining nations before dear Islam are Jews and Christians.
It is important and interesting to know the opinion of the creator of the universe about these two nations:
God mentions about the people of Musa in Surah Saf (5):
وَ إِذْ قالَ مُوسي لِقَوْمِهِ يا قَوْمِ لِمَ تُؤْذُونَني وَ قَدْ تَعْلَمُونَ أَنّي رَسُولُ اللّهِ إِلَيْکُمْ فَلَمّا زاغُوا أَزاغَ اللّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ وَ اللّهُ لا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفاسِقينَ
And [remember] the time when Musa said to his people: “O my people, why do you bother me, even though you know that I am the Messenger of God to you?” So when they turned [from the truth], God turned their hearts, and God does not guide the wicked people!
And God, the Wise, says in in Surah Saf (6 and 7)about the people of Jesus:
وَ إِذْ قالَ عيسَي ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ يا بَني إِسْرائيلَ إِنّي رَسُولُ اللّهِ إِلَيْکُمْ مُصَدِّقًا لِما بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْراةِ وَ مُبَشِّرًا بِرَسُولٍ يَأْتي مِنْ بَعْدِي اسْمُهُ أَحْمَدُ فَلَمّا جاءَهُمْ بِالْبَيِّناتِ قالُوا هذا سِحْرٌ مُبينٌ
And [remember] when Jesus son of Maryam said: “O children of Israel, I am God’s messenger to you. I confirm the Torah that was before me, and I give glad tidings to the messenger who comes after me, whose name is Ahmad, so when he brought them clear reasons, they said: “This is a clear dawn”!
وَ مَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَري عَلَي اللّهِ الْکَذِبَ وَ هُوَ يُدْعي إِلَي اْلإِسْلامِ وَ اللّهُ لا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظّالِمينَ
And who is more cruel than the one who lies about God despite being called to Islam? And God does not guide the unjust people!
That is, because of the wicked and ugly actions of the people of Moses and Jesus towards their messengers, the Lord of the Day of Judgment calls the Jews a wicked people and the Christians a cruel people!
And even more important is Surah Nahl (63) , in which God Almighty swears:
تَاللّهِ لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنا إِلي أُمَمٍ مِنْ قَبْلِکَ فَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطانُ أَعْمالَهُمْ فَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَ لَهُمْ عَذابٌ أَليمٌ
By God, we sent messengers to the nations before you, but the devil made their deeds beautiful in their eyes, and today he (the devil) is their guardian and guardian, and there is a severe punishment for them!
Yes, the nations of the past who were before dear Islam, including Jews and Christians, because of their beliefs and actions, today Satan is their guardian! Of course, their messengers do not approve of their distorted beliefs and deviant actions! Because their guardian is the devil and not the merciful God! Therefore, they deserve severe punishment! Unless they repent and believe in the messenger given the good news by the past messengers, and his soul, “self”! However, in the important story of Mubahele, the Christian elders of Najran city saw the truth on the scene and stepped back!
فَمَنْ حَاجَّکَ فيهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ ما جاءَکَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ فَقُلْ تَعالَوْا نَدْعُ أَبْناءَنا وَ أَبْناءَکُمْ وَ نِساءَنا وَ نِساءَکُمْ وَ أَنْفُسَنا وَ أَنْفُسَکُمْ ثُمَّ نَبْتَهِلْ فَنَجْعَلْ لَعْنَتَ اللّهِ عَلَي الْکاذِبينَ (آل عمران ۶۱)
If after the knowledge that has come to you, people start arguing with you, say to them: “Let us invite our children, you also invite your children, we invite our wives, you Let us invite our women from our souls, and you from your souls, then let us invite them, and let God’s curse be on the liars!
Perhaps the elders of these two nations do not accept this and claim that they are approved by the Creator of the universe, therefore, in verse 17 of Surah Hajj, it is said that God will set up a religious competition between Muslims, Jews, Sabeans, Christians, Magi, and polytheists in the Day of Judgment. To overtake each other and show in practice which one is right and which nation God is pleased with!
إِنَّ الَّذينَ آمَنُوا وَ الَّذينَ هادُوا وَ الصّابِئينَ وَ النَّصاري وَ الْمَجُوسَ وَ الَّذينَ أَشْرَکُوا إِنَّ اللّهَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيامَةِ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلي کُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهيدٌ
Surely, tho
se who believe (Muslims), and Jews, Sabians, Christians, Magi, and polytheists, God will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection, God is witness to everything!
“And the end is for the righteous.”
