Revolution 43 Years on: An Unstoppable Islamic Power

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Monday visited the mausoleum of the late founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini on the eve of the 43rd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
Tuesday marks the return of Imam Khomeini from exile in Paris in 1979, which set off nationwide protests across Iran and culminated in the ouster of the U.S.-based Pahlavi regime ten days later.
Every year, the occasion is remembered with Ten-Day Dawn Celebrations in Iran and other countries by sympathizers of the Islamic Republic.
Ayatollah Khamenei also visited Behesht Zahra cemetery where many of Iranians martyred in the course of the revolution and during the 1980-1988 war of the former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein on Iran are lying in eternal rest.
The Islamic Revolution, which in 1979 threw into the dustbin of history the Anglo-American Pahlavi potentate, is indeed a potent unstoppable force today in the region and beyond, as is evident by its liberating role all around.
Examples in this regard are the heroic struggles of the Palestinian and Lebanese people against illegal Israel.
The Syrian government and people have succeeded in saving their country from the plot of the U.S. and its allies to dismember it, thanks to the inspiration from Iran and its timely assistance to stabilize the situation.
In Yemen, popular forces have thwarted the devilish designs of the Saudi-Emirati invaders by taking the fight to the enemy’s camp.
In Bahrain, the Al Khalifa pirate regime is counting its last days, while in mainland Arabia the Wahhabi minority clique in illegal control since 1932, is clearly at the end of its wit at the growing influence of the Islamic Revolution.
In many countries, people are celebrating the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran. As the Late Imam said: “Our Revolution was explosion of light.”
