“Prayer in the presence of the Lord”
The call to prayer was at noon, I wanted to stand for prayer, I had no peace of mind. I wanted to enter the prayer in a better mood, I wanted to be in the presence with all my being. But I could not.
It was as if something had taken hold of my hands and feet so that I would not move from where I was, I relied on God, I came out of myself … Two of the pious stood in front of the Imam to block the enemy’s arrows towards him.
Their keen eyes constantly monitored the position of the opposing soldiers so that they could better defend the Imam against arrows and spears. Despite the fact that the arrows were repelled with a shield, every once in a while, an arrow landed in their body.
The Imam performed the prayer in the state of prayer of fear, and while he was still in prayer, those helpers had promised to stand.
It was as if it was their covenant that was the soul of their body, that they should also live as long as the Imam is in prayer. I came to my senses, isn’t this the place I’ve been looking for for years? I have longed for Imam Hussein’s help for many years and martyrdom in his footsteps, now is the time, as long as this scene persists, I must defend the Imam.
I sat on the ground and asked the Imam for permission to let me enter the square. The qunoot of my prayer was over, because I was walking around the Imam’s burning candle, I realized that he had also allowed me to be his devotee .. Glory be to my Lord … O my Lord! Allow me to go where you want and go the way you want.
O my Lord! How do you like my testimony? Write the same for me in this prayer. Glory be to the Most High Lord … O my Lord, who is in the highest positions of the universe, guide me with you. Connect me to the sharp wing of your flight, so that wherever you go and wherever you are, I may be with you and constantly look at you so that what you want is done and is the same. My Lord! You are the Lord and nurturer that the Almighty God has appointed for us to take our hand and with your mercy, take us to the higher ones to be safe from the harms of the world.
I remembered that beautiful poem of my youth, to stay safe, to grow friends … Zahra, a loving mother, a loving mother, bought the sorrows and pains. One of these sorrows and pains was that a mother sends her dearest child to the altar so that God could open the door of the higher heavens and the door of the heights of the universe to human beings.
There were many arrows on the bodies. The Imam had finished the prayer, the defenders of the Imam had fulfilled their promise, they calmly and proudly raised their bodies to the ground so that they would be dust before the arrival of the Imam and even nothing. The Imam put their heads on the bed and cried and prayed for them to be in the presence of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the loving mother of the Ummah for another moment and to be watered by his blessed hands Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and may God’s mercy and blessings be upon you. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of God. Peace be upon you, and may God’s mercy and blessings be upon you.
