The Palestinian issue has been one of the issues that has affected many issues and developments in the international arena since 1948. Many efforts have been made in past decades to marginalize the occupation of Palestine in order to legitimize occupation.
But the initiative of Imam Khomeini (RA) in choosing Quds Day was the first step to defuse this project against the Palestinian people. Following Imam Khomeini’s measure, various groups and individuals have taken many actions to defeat Israeli conspiracies.
The struggles and efforts of Martyr General Qassem Soleimani were among these measures. Palestine can be considered as the main focus of Martyr Soleimani’s thought.
