Iran-Turkey Ties on Right Track: Amirabdollahian

Hailing the perfect interaction between Tehran and Ankara, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said he would hold talks with senior Turkish officials about regional and international developments.

Speaking to reporters upon his arrival in Ankara on Tuesday, Amirabdollahian said he has traveled to urkey for talks about issues relating to bilateral ties “considering the premium level of relations between Tehran and Ankara”.

“Fortunately the relations between the two countries are on the right track,” he stated.

The foreign minister said Iran considers Turkey as one of the neighbors which has the best relations with the Islamic Republic.

Amirabdollahian also noted that he is going to hold meetings with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu and with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan about a series of regional issues, such as the developments in West Asia and South Caucasus, as well as the international developments.
