Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian said Sunday it is imperative that Iran and China enhance relations in various sectors, not least economy.
The Iranian minister was meeting with Ali Muhammadi, the new consul general of the Islamic Republic to the Chinese city of Shanghai, on Sunday ahead of the diplomat’s departure. Relations between Tehran and Shanghai and East China go back a long time, Amir-Abdollahian said.
