Yemen’s new stance on ceasefire

“Resolving the suffering of the Yemeni people in all provinces should be a priority in any negotiation,” the Minister of Transport of the Yemeni National Salvation Government said.

Abdul Wahab Yahya Nasser Al-Durra, the Minister of Transport in the Government of National Salvation, said: “Resolving the suffering of the Yemeni people in all provinces should be a priority in any negotiation.” He added: “The aggressors and their elements have closed many roads. The closure of the main roads in some provinces has caused people to take difficult and costly routes.”

The Minister of Transport of the Yemeni National Salvation Government stressed: “We call on the United Nations to include the ceasefire in roads and crossings, because land transport plays a key role in reducing the sufferings of the Yemeni people.”

Al-Durra further said: it is necessary to open roads between the provinces. It is worth mentioning that the aggressors and the elements affiliated with the Saudi coalition are repeatedly violating the ceasefire.
