Europe is in the grip of an economic crisis mainly due to the mismanagement of the ruling regimes, which are unable to guarantee jobs and public welfare amidst growing social inequality and skyrocketing inflation that have become worse as a result of NATO’s pushing Ukraine into a destructive war with Russia, prompting Moscow to cut natural gas supplies thereby making winter frigid in its real sense.
The lower-income groups are hard pressed and have taken to the streets over the past few days in France, Britain, Germany, and other countries to voice their grievances and demand solutions to their problems, including end to involvement in the Ukraine war.
The point worth noting is that these road rallies by thousands of people are peaceful protests, of course with minor scuffles with policemen, but without any incidents of arson, destruction of public property, assault on passersby, plundering of shops, damage to cabs, shouting of obscene slogans, killing of compatriots, ridiculing the constitution, tearing the national flags, attacks on churches, and torching of bibles.
The most important point to note is that the French, British, and German protestors are not indulging in treason against their homelands by demanding that communism should replace capitalism and Russia should take over their countries.
Even during the Cold War when there were many sympathizers of socialism in Western Europe, there was no 5th Column willing to advance the KGB’s infiltration plans or indulge in violence on the streets to facilitate the invasion by the Red Army, in spite of Radio Moscow’s intense propaganda for overthrow of capitalism.
Contrast these rallies in West Europe with the recent incidents of scattered riots in a few localities in Tehran and parts of some other cities by terrorists and traitors, accompanied by a handful of characterless women, and the economic-social damage these murderers have done to the Islamic Republic (by committing all the above-mentioned acts not done by European protestors) on the orders of the CIA, Mossad, the false narrative Farsi radio-TV channels based in Britain, the US, and the illegal Zionist entity, as well as the open expressions of support for their crimes against the nation by the American and French leaders, who call this foreign-backed treason as ‘revolution of women and youth for life, freedom’.
Praised be God for having inspired Iran’s multimillion masses to come out on the streets on several occasions for the past few weeks to nail the lie of the thugs, the terrorists, the traitors, and their western backers, by expression of support for Islam, for the Islamic Republic, for the Islamic Leadership, and for the Islamic aspirations of the peoples and movements of the region steadfastly resisting the devilish designs of Washington and its clients.
Yes, we in Iran, out of humanitarian concerns, sympathize with the protestors in Europe and extend moral support to them for their just demands which definitively do not include the looting of London, the plundering of Paris, the burning of Berlin and the ransacking of Rome.
The Islamic Republic does not meddle in the affairs of other countries and wishes nothing peace for their people.
Even during the 8-year war the US had imposed upon it in the 1980s through Saddam of Baghdad’s repressive Ba’th minority regime which was militarily backed by West European leaders who shamelessly hosted several traitors and terrorists fleeing Iran, the Islamic Republic neither supported nor supplied arms to such terrorist outfits as Italy’s Red Brigades, France’s SOS Racisme, Germany’s Neo-Nazis, imperial Britain’s Irish Republican Army (IRA).
Fie on the morally-bankrupt regimes of North America and Western Europe for trying to trouble Iran yet again despite their failures of the past forty-three years to undermine the stability of the Islamic Republic, its spectacular self-reliance in all fields, and its growing influence in the neighbourhood and beyond.
