Skirmish Breaks Out at Iran-Afghanistan Border

 The Iranian Border Police units and the Taliban forces exchanged fire at a border region in east of Iran on Saturday.

Reports suggest that the armed clashes broke out in Makaki region at Kang districts located in Nimruz province of Afghanistan.

The area is close to Zabol, located in Iran’s southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan.

The cause of the skirmish is still unclear.
