Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Sunday congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his victory in the presidential election runoff in Turkey, saying it was a sign of the Turkish people’s “valuable trust” in him.
In a message, Raisi expressed confidence that Erdogan’s ne term will mark further strengthening of close cooperation between the two countries on the developments of the region and the Islamic world with the aim of bolstering peace and stability and development.
