Palestinian Teen Assaulted by Zionist Settler

WEST BANK (Dispatches) – A Zionist settler has wounded a Palestinian teenager in a sudden knife attack in al-Quds.
The stabbing attack took place in Salahuddin Street in central al-Quds. 17-year-old Mohamed al-Natsha was rushed to hospital for medical assistance after suffering a moderate injury in his neck, according to local sources.
There was no information if the Zionist regime’s police have arrested the stabber.
Tensions have been running high in the occupied territories amid plans by Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s new coalition administration to impose the occupying regime’s so-called ‘sovereignty’ over illegal settlements and the strategic Jordan Valley in the occupied West Bank.
U.S. President Donald Trump’s self-proclaimed ‘deal of the century,’ which was unveiled in January, effectively granted the occupying regime a green light for the annexation in flagrant violation of international law.
For Palestinians and much of the international community, the annexation plan amounts to a grave violation of international law and would dash hopes of a solution to the Zionist-Palestinian conflict.
Over half a million Zionists live in more than 230 illegal settlements built since the 1967 occupation of the Palestinian territories of the West Bank including East al-Quds by the regime. All settlements are illegal under international law.
In another incident, Zionist troops shot and injured a Syrian shepherd working near the Lebanese border, claiming that he had crossed into the occupied territories.
The Lebanese satellite television station al-Manar reported that the Zionist troops opened fire on the Syrian shepherd working on a farm in the Kfarchouba Hills area, which is on the Lebanese side of the UN-drawn Blue Line.
“A short while ago… troops spotted a suspect who crossed the Blue Line from Lebanon” into Israel, the military said in a statement.
“The suspect was injured from fire and is being evacuated to a hospital … in Israel,” it added.
The Lebanese military identified the man as Mohamad Noureddine Abdel al-Azim, a cattle herder and Syrian citizen.
Lebanon said it was following up on the incident in coordination with the UN peacekeepers who patrol the Blue Line. The United Nations marked out the line between Lebanon and Israel in 2000. The Zionist regime and Lebanon are technically at war.
