Iran Wins U-23 World Greco-Roman Championships

 Iran claimed the title of the U-23 World Greco-Roman Championships in Spain.

Iran won the team title with 138 points, 37 points more than second-placed Georgia.

Turkey jumped over Azerbaijan to finish third with 93 points.

Danial Sohrabi won the third gold medal of Iran by winning the 67kg weight class.

Iran’s Pouya Dadmarz at 55kg and Iman Mohammadi at 63kg had previously won two gold medals.

Ali Akbar Yousefi at 130kg, Amir Abdi at 72kg and Ali Abedi at 97kg also won three bronze medals.

The competition was held in Pontevedra, Spain.
