A senior Hamas official has told Mehr that the Western leaders’ trips to Tel Aviv showed their fear that the Zionist regime could soon be toppled by the Resistance.
Speaking in an interview with Mehr correspondent, the senior Hamas official Ali Baraka said that Washington rather than the Zionist region is in charge of the fight against the Gaza Strip.
“The American statesmen’s visits to occupied Palestine clearly show the serious concern of the American government over the collapse of this regime against the Palestinian Resistance,” he said.
“Today, it is the United States that conducts the war against the Palestinian nation. It is America that is putting pressure on the Arab countries with the aim of moving our families in the Gaza Strip to the Sinai region and other Arab countries such as Jordan,” Baraka added.
The senior Hamas official went on to describe the United States as an “absolute evil” in the region as it is supporting the usurping regime.
“Had it not been for the US and its military, financial and political support, the Zionist regime would have collapsed a long time ago,” Baraka continued.
“The US government is trying to get some aid through the Rafah crossing. Naturally, this aid needs to be watched over, because it is possible that the American government’s spies or the American spy agencies and those of the Zionist regime enter Gaza with them, and this aid may be a kind of trap to force our people in Gaza to go to Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip in order to grab it. This means that these contributions can be some sort of bribery.
“Naturally, we do not reject donations and humanitarian aid. Our nation needs such assistance, but they are organized through the coordination of the Zionist regime and Egypt, in coordination with the government authorities in Gaza or the Hamas movement,” Baraka continued.
“We emphasize that the priority is not food and water. The priority now is to stop the Zionist attacks and crimes against our people in the Gaza Strip. Zionists who have not provided anything for Gaza and have destroyed mosques, synagogues, universities, schools and residential blocs. Unfortunately, we see that European countries are standing by the Zionist regime. The position of France, which faced the Nazi occupation and organized resistance against the Nazis, is surprising to us. The French nation, which approves the French Resistance against the Nazi invaders, must also support the Palestinian resistance against the neo-Nazis, that is, the Nazi and racist Zionists,” the senior Hamas official concluded.
