The foreign minister of Iran slammed the US president’s visit to Tel Aviv amid the merciless Israeli attacks on Gaza as a glaring example of unconditional American support for the Zionist regime’s war crimes.
US President Joe Biden’s visit to Tel Aviv at this juncture, when the Zionist regime is committing war crimes and genocide against Palestinians and massacred people at Al-Ahli Hospital of Gaza on Tuesday night, reveals that the US unwaveringly stands by the Israeli regime and provides unconditional support for its war crimes, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said in a meeting with State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Qatar Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, held in Saudi Arabia on the sidelines of an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on Wednesday.
The top Iranian diplomat said the US is trying to revive the Zionist regime, which has suffered a heavy defeat in the face of the Palestinian resistance.
While the Israeli regime is brutally butchering civilians in Gaza, the US secretary of state blatantly went to the war room of Zionists and at the same time called on the others to practice self-restraint, Amirabdollahian added.
Media reports indicate that at least 500 people, many of them women and children, have been killed in the Israeli strike on Al-Ahli Hospital.
More than 3,300 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since Hamas’s October 7 operation outside Gaza.
