Army to Set Up Five New Drone Units

 The commander of the Iranian army’s ground force on Wednesday announced plans for the establishment of five new military units operating with unmanned aerial vehicles.
Brigadier General Kiomars Heidari said some of the most advanced drones are in service at the army’s ground force. He touched on the sophisticated UAVs that the army’s “Drone Base 313” has taken delivery of, including cruise drones and the Heidar drones, saying the ground force has submitted a proposal for the establishment of five drone units.
