Tokyo 2020: Iranian Greco-Roman Wrestler Geraei Wins Gold

TEHRAN – Iran’s Mohammad Reza Geraei claimed a gold medal at the Men’s Greco-Roman 67 kg in the 2020 Olympic Games on Wednesday.

He defeated Parviz Nasibov from Ukraine 9-1 in the men’s Greco-Roman 67kg final bout.

He had previously defeated German Frank Stäbler and Frank Stäbler and Georgian Ramaz Zoidze to make his way to the final.

Iranian shooter Javad Foroughi and Grec0-Roman wrsetler Mohammad Hadi Saravi had already won a gold and a bronze medal respectively in the games.

Freestyler wrestler Hassan Yazadani has also a chance to win a gold medal on Thursday.
