Iranian athletes Mohammadreza Safdarian and Mohsen Beheshti Rad won colorful medals at the 2024 UIAA Ice Climbing World Championships held in Edmonton, Canada.
Safdarian topped the Men’s speed final with 12.83 seconds, followed by Mongolia’s Nyamdoo Kherlen (15.03).
The other Iranian ice climber Mohsen Beheshti Rad stood in third place with 15.69 seconds and gained the bronze medal.
The 2024 UIAA Ice Climbing World Championships was held in Edmonton, Canada from February 16-18.
