Iranian FM in Geneva to attend UNHRC session

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian is visiting the Swiss city of Geneva to attend the 55th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).

Heading a diplomatic delegation, the top Iranian diplomat arrived in Geneva in early on Monday.

During his stay in Geneva, Amir-Abdollahian is scheduled to hold meetings with UN officials.

The Iranian foreign minister is also set to deliver a speech at the 55th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
