Iran, Turkey FMs confer on bilateral ties

 Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian Amirabdollahian and his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, held a phone call on Saturday on bilateral ties between Tehran and Ankara.

The top Iranian diplomat congratulated the Turkish government and people on the occasion of Eidal-Fitr.

He also said that his ministry had agreed to the opening of the Iranian interest section in Albania through Turkey and thanked Ankara for its good offices in this regard.

The Turkish diplomat, for his part, congratulated the Iranian people on Eid al-Fitr as well, and stressed the importance of the further development of ties between the two countries.
