Interior Minister: Iran makes arrests after recent terrorist attack in Kerman

 The Iranian interior minister has said some suspects in connection with the Wednesday terrorist attack in Kerman have been arrested.

Ahmad Vahidi, the Minister of Interior of Iran said on Friday that a number of suspects behind the deadly terrorist attack in Kerman have been arrested by the intelligence forces.

“Intelligence apparatuses have been able to find good clues, some of those who were involved in this incident have been arrested, whose information will be reported later by the security agencies,” he also said in a post on his X account.

“Out of the total of 88 martyrs in the terrorist incident in Kerman, nearly 54 are women and 34 are men, we have 12 Afghan migrant martyrs, and nearly 10 are under the age of 10. As many as 30 people are under 18 years old, some of them will be buried in Kerman, more than 50 of them, others will be buried in other cities of Kerman province, and some will be buried in other provinces,” the minister said.

The ISIL terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack in Kerman which happened on Wednesday.
