Huge Crowds Attend Funeral of Security Martyrs

Thousands of people on Sunday took part in a funeral procession for three members of the Iranian security forces who were martyred in a terrorist attack during riots in the central province of Isfahan.
They turned out en masse to pay their respects to the victims and condemn all acts of violence and terror.
The ceremony was attended by people from all walks of life, state and provincial officials as well as senior military commanders, during which they renewed allegiance to the Islamic establishment and denounced any move that compromises national security.
Colonel Esmaeil Cheraghi, 41, and Basij members Muhammad Hossein Karimi, 30, and 54-year-old Mohsen Hamidi were martyred in an attack by rioters in the Khane neighborhood of Isfahan on November 16.
Foreign-backed riots have hit some Iranian provinces since September, claiming the lives of dozens of people and security forces.
In the last two months, terrorists have taken advantage of the situation to set fire to public property and torture several Basij members and security forces to death.
On October 26, a Daesh-affiliated terrorist attacked the Shah Cheragh shrine in the southern province of Fars before the evening prayers, martyring at least 13 pilgrims — including a woman and two children — and injuring 40 others.
At least seven people were also martyred after terrorists opened fire at people and security forces at a crowded market in Khuzestan province’s Izeh around sunset on Wednesday.
Iranian media outlets have released video footage, showing heavily-armed foreign-backed terrorists firing indiscriminate shots at a major crossroads in Izeh, as security forces call on ordinary people to stay away from the scene to save their lives.
In one part of the video, a person is heard ordering the others to go inside the city’s Mosalla

(permanent payers ground) to take cover as bullets rain.
The victims were identified as Reza Shariati, 25, Kian Pir Falak, 9, Ashraf Nikbakht, 45, Abtin Rahmani, 13, Ali Moulai, and two other unidentified people.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Intelligence Department arrested the perpetrators of a recent terrorist attack that killed three security forces in Iran’s central city of Isfahan, the spokesman for IRGC units in Isfahan said Sunday.
Ruhollah Hakimifard said the terrorist team included a number of high-profile notorious thugs of the province with criminal records and links with the “hypocrisy current” who perpetrated the terrorist attack with assault rifles.
The spokesman said improvised explosive devices and various firearms and cold weapons have been confiscated in a search of the houses of those arrested.
Officials have pledged that Iran will deliver a crushing response to the masterminds of the bloodshed.
