Blessings of Eid-e Ghadir

Salaam dear young friends. Congratulations to you all on a very special day. Hope you are all fine by the grace of God Almighty. The weather has become hot and in some parts of the country, especially in the southern Iran, heat has become unbearable.
Authorities are requesting people to manage their electricity consumption so that there would be enough electricity for all during the summer.
Well, guess why we have congratulated you at the beginning? Yes, you are correct. Today is the blessed birthday of Imam Ali an-Naqi al-Hadi (AS), the 10th Infallible Successor of Prophet Mohammad (SAWA), who was born in the holy city of Medina in 214 AH.
His period of Imamate, or divinely-decreed leadership of mankind, was 34 years, until he was martyred in the Iraqi city of Samarra through poisoning by the usurper Abbasid caliph, Mo’taz.
The Imam – who was forced to come to Samarra by the previous caliph, the tyrant Motawakkil – trained many prominent scholars, including his distant cousin, Hazrat Abdul-Azeem al-Hassani, whose shrine in Rayy, a southern suburb of Tehran, is visited by pilgrims throughout the year.
Consequently, our heartiest felicitations to you on another very auspicious day, as you all know Saturday will be the day on which God Almighty perfected faith, completed divine favours, and decreed Islam as the religion of mankind.
Yes, youngsters, the 18th of Zilhijja is that immortal day in the history of mankind on which the Almighty’s Last and Greatest Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) on the express commandment of the Lord Most High, proclaimed his dear cousin and son-in-law as vicegerent, after delivering a memorable sermon to a huge gathering of 120,000 at the pond (Ghadeer) in Khom, near Juhfa, while returning from his farewell Hajj pilgrimage.
The immortal words of the Prophet “Man Kunto Mowla fa Haza Aliyun Mowlahu” which means “For whomsoever I am Master this Ali is his Master” continue to awaken human conscience and inspire the youths and elders with the essence of faith.
In Iran, this immortal phrase will be written everywhere, at every public square and street corner, as the Islamic Republic will observe an official holiday on the Day of Ghadeer.
No wonder, Ghadeer is supposed to be the greatest Eid in Islam. As a matter of fact, according to the Prophet’s 6th Infallible Heir, Imam Ja’far as-Sadeq (AS), it is the Greatest Eid in Islam, more significant than Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, because this day decided the continuation of divine guidance for humanity, despite the plots of the seditious, such as the scandalous gathering of Saqifa Bani Sa’da.
It is the day on which God Almighty perfected faith, completed divine favours, and decreed Islam as the religion of mankind. That is the reason that even under the barrage of bombs of the Godless Saudis, the faithful people of Yemen observe this day, as was evident by the tens of thousands who assembled on the main streets of Sanaa’ and other cities with bold banners and placards, celebrating the merits of Imam Ali (AS).
Only the faithless express doubts on the significance of the Day of Ghadeer and the Merits of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (AS).
These blind bats should realize that since the Prophet was sent by God the vicegerent of the Prophet should also be divinely-designated, otherwise there is no legitimacy for anyone styling himself as caliph.
Goodbye till next week.
