If a person has no ideals and goals, they cannot live for a moment. The expectation of a savior and someone who brings salvation to humanity exists in all religions, and Islam in particular has emphasized this issue in detail and has emphasized the reappearance of Imam Mahdi.”
He added: “In Western societies and churches, it is emphasized that Jesus will come and He is the savior of humanity. We also believe that Jesus will come, but our belief is that the savior of humanity is the promised Mahdi and Jesus is his supporter and helper, and he will reappear to establish justice and equity and establish love and peace in the world. Judaism also believes in the reappearance of the savior in its teachings.
A wise and faithful person believes that the reappearance is always about how to refine oneself and how to prepare oneself for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (AJ) or Jesus (AS) so that they can be helpers in establishing justice and peace. Different religions can use this common point to bring their followers’ hearts closer and bring people of the world closer to each other so that the earth becomes a better place to live and there are fewer wars and bloodshed.”
The Brazilian intellectual reminded: “If I want to be very brief in the ethical field, I can say that there is a lot of difference between a hopeful person and a hopeless person about a better future, and this issue completely affects individual ethics, and certainly hopeful people are more ethical. In the social field, too, a hopeful and expectant society is formed by individuals who believe in the existence of a savior who will come one day, so these individuals strive to be better members of society so that their society is ready for the reappearance.
In the economic field, if people pay attention to this matter, the reappearance of the savior and the establishment of justice by him can become a common goal for the people, so people will believe that they are all in the same boat, so many economic injustices will not happen. Of course, it should be mentioned that all these goals are achieved when the members of society are truly expectant and believe in it, otherwise all these ethical, social, and economic goals will remain slogans and words only.”
He added: “One of the common mistakes is that the waiting person should sit and just pray for the coming of the savior and not take any action for the coming of the savior and the realization of his reappearance. Firstly, for the preparation of the reappearance, a person must refine themselves and be prepared to submit and obey the savior.
The project and plan of the savior is not a simple and easy plan because it wants to prepare the world to become full of justice and peace, so it requires a lot of effort and sincere helpers to fulfill its role in creating a desirable atmosphere; after self-improvement, individuals should focus on community-building and prepare the society just as they have refined and prepared themselves to accept the reappearance, so that the society can help the coming of the savior. Unfortunately, many doubts are raised in society nowadays, and one of the duties of believers is to answer these doubts and not allow people’s beliefs to weaken in this doubtful atmosphere.”
