Iran, Tajikistan sign parliamentary MoU

 Iran and Tajikistan have inked a parliamentary memorandum of understanding (MoU) following a joint meeting of the two countries’ parliament speakers.

Chairman of the National Assembly of Tajikistan Rustam Emomali, who arrived in Tehran at the head of the high-level parliamentary delegation, was welcomed by Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf in the Iranian capital city of Tehran on Monday morning.

During the ceremony, Ghalibaf and Emomali signed and exchanged a memorandum of understanding for parliamentary cooperation.

Enhancing the parliamentary ties between the two countries and improving bilateral ties were among the topics of talks between the two sides.
